The tale of Leo and Esteem is our tale. I'm Léo Dominguez and she's Esteem Polchi. A pair of Parisians who've been building a life together for over 8 years. From the moment we connected, we harbored a shared vision of creating something meaningful as partners. When we founded Le petit cartable in January 2013, that vision began to take shape. Our inaugural Kickstarter launch was underway!

Our atelier is nestled just outside Naples, Italy - a place where leather craftsmanship runs deep. Established in the early 1980s by Dino Levorino, a master artisan celebrated for his expertise, the workshop has since been passed down to his son Gennaro. We speak with him daily, collaborating closely on production and the creation of new designs. More than a manufacturer, they are true partners who share our vision at Esteem.
